Outside of its top-notch design quality, what sets KONG apart from many slots games is that it has two distinct modes. Big City mode and Jungle mode are essentially two distinct games. In each mode, the bonus games are different, and they even use entirely different symbol sets. The benefit of this approach is that the player has a choice. If they prefer one mode or another, they can concentrate on that. On the other hand, if they like them both, they can switch back and forth in order to keep the game feeling fresh. In Big City mode, the bonus game is City Tower, which lets the player swat incoming planes to reveal prizes. In Jungle mode, the bonus is Skull Island, which lets the player combat creatures to reveal prizes.
